Calaeddodd

Calaeddod is the mountain range that cuts through the centre of Anula. It is homeland to the Cut peoples, namely the Chōcut. It is also home to the fierce llofyn, colossal dragon-like butterflies.

Name Origin

The name of Calaeddodd comes from the historical outlook on the mountains, which on Adal were seen as a defence people both sides of the mountain could use to defend against attackers. ‘Calae ddodd’ literally translates to ‘border defend’.
