Dregan

Dregan, often pluralised to Dregans, are a rather monstrous Gan subspecies with a fairly interesting story, which was largely preserved in myth.

In -7900, the God of Lethargy, Sirphni, was “dared” by another god to actually make a creature. Sirphni then put an uncharacteristic amount of effort to diverge the Ce’gan, inspired by Caecillans, to have long and slender bodies without legs. The intention, she claimed, was so that they could laze about all day using their arms to stuff their faces.

The Dregan were later diverged by Maleisus, who inspired by one of the first “Antonym” made species of person, gave them venom so that they might smite their enemies. He also made them stronger.

Nowadays, the Dregan are large, powerful, and active Gan subspecies. Their cultures have many ritualistic runs in which they use the highly mobile capabilities of their unique bodies in sport. They are an incredibly kind and caring people as well.

They primarily inhabit Annwvyn’s Colamdezhin and Nusant, but are present across all of Annwvyn.
